Community Guidelines
Last Updated: January 29, 2026
Our Mission
Friendket helps adults build genuine connection through online and in-person experiences. Because these connections can involve meeting strangers and exchanging money, we hold everyone—Members and Friends—to high standards of safety, respect, honesty, and reliability.
These Guidelines explain what’s expected and what can lead to warnings, restrictions, or removal from Friendket.
Core Principles
- Safety: prevent harm and reduce risk
- Respect: treat people with dignity
- Privacy: protect personal data
- Fairness: no discrimination or retaliation
- Authenticity: be who you say you are
- Reliability: keep commitments and communicate
By using Friendket, you agree to follow these Guidelines and our Terms.
Who these Guidelines apply to
These Guidelines apply to: (a) all Friendket users (Members, Friends, organizers, participants); (b) all on-platform activity (profiles, messages, payments, posts, reviews, support interactions); (c) in-person conduct connected to Friendket (meetups, paid sessions, events); and (d) off-platform conduct when it creates risk or harm related to Friendket (stalking, threats, harassment, fraud, weapon threats, credible safety concerns). Friendket may take action based on credible reports and evidence even if conduct occurs off-platform.
General Definitions
- “Member”: any user who purchases or participates in Friendket experiences.
- “Friend”: any user who offers time, companionship, participation in activities, conversation, or other permitted services through the Platform.
- “Content”: all text, photos, videos, audio, messages, reviews, listings, profiles, and other materials on or transmitted through the Platform.
- “Dispute”: includes any claim or controversy arising out of or relating to the Platform, members, bookings, payments, or this Agreement.
- “Session/Experience”: any booked, paid interaction (online or in-person), including group events.
- “Off-platform”: interactions not conducted through Friendket systems (external payments, texting, social media, etc.).
- “Consent”: clear, voluntary agreement that can be withdrawn at any time.
- “Personal data”: phone number, email, address, workplace, school, government IDs, financial info, social handles, location, etc.
A) Safety (zero tolerance for harm)
Violence, threats, and dangerous behavior are strictly prohibited. You may not threaten harm, intimidate, or incite violence. Commit assault, robbery, coercion, confinement, stalking, or any act of violence. Bring weapons to Friendket meetups or sessions (including firearms) unless required/explicitly permitted by local law and permitted by Friendket policy.
Violence, threats, and dangerous behavior
You may not:
- Threaten harm, intimidate, or incite violence.
- Commit assault, robbery, coercion, confinement, stalking, or any act of violence.
- Encourage others to harm someone, including self-harm.
- Bring weapons to Friendket meetups or sessions (including firearms) unless required/explicitly permitted by local law and permitted by Friendket policy.
- Participate in or promote violent extremist organizations or organized violence.
Default expectation: do not bring weapons to sessions/events.
Immediate removal likely for: credible threats, assault, stalking, weapon intimidation, or attempts to isolate/trap someone.
Sexual assault, sexual harassment, and consent
Friendket is not a sexual services platform. Sexual services and any sex-for-compensation conduct are prohibited. Consent is required for physical contact and can be withdrawn at any time. You may not pressure, request, negotiate, or exchange anything sexual for money, discounts, tips, refunds, better ratings, or continued service. This reduces coercion, exploitation, and legal risk.
You may not:
- Pressure, request, negotiate, or exchange anything sexual for money, discounts, tips, refunds, better ratings, or continued service.
- Continue flirting or sexual talk after being asked to stop.
- Send unwanted sexual content (explicit messages/images/audio; “rate my body”; sexual requests).
- Touch someone without consent (including “accidental” contact; hugs/massages without consent).
- Continue any advance after a “no,” “stop,” “I’m uncomfortable,” or silence/avoidance.
- Solicit, negotiate, or imply sexual access in connection with a Booking, even if framed as “consensual.”
Consent rules (practical): consent must be enthusiastic and ongoing; it can be withdrawn at any time; intoxication, fear, or coercion means no valid consent.
Immediate removal likely for: sexual assault, coercion, unwanted sexual content, or “pay-for-intimacy” negotiation.
Substance safety (alcohol/drugs)
You may not:
- Use or offer illegal drugs during sessions/events.
- Be under the influence in a way that creates risk or discomfort.
- Pressure someone to drink or use substances.
- Drive impaired or encourage unsafe travel.
Alcoholic Environments: if alcohol may be present, disclose it in advance; never pressure participation.
Crisis, self-harm, and emergency situations
You may not:
- Encourage self-harm, suicide, or disordered eating.
- Use self-harm threats to manipulate someone (“If you leave, I’ll hurt myself”).
If someone appears in imminent danger: contact local emergency services first, then report to Friendket. Friendket may temporarily restrict accounts during urgent safety reviews.
Pre-session safety expectations (required for all sessions)
Before any session begins, both Members and Friends must ensure the experience can be completed safely as described.
You may not:
- Change the agreed-upon location/format/environment in a way that increases risk without explicit consent.
- Add additional attendees without prior disclosure and consent.
- Withhold material safety information prior to meeting.
Friends are responsible for ensuring the session environment matches what was disclosed. Members are responsible for confirming they are comfortable with the plan before attending. If safety conditions change, either party may cancel or end the session without penalty.
Environment and location safety standards
Sessions must take place in public and reasonably safe, appropriate environments for the described experience. Unsafe environments include (non-exhaustive): restricted exit/movement; abandoned/illegal/unauthorized spaces; undisclosed known hazards; environments involving unsafe animals, weapons, or illegal activity; sparsely populated areas at night. Sessions taking place in private residences, hotel rooms, and secluded areas are strictly prohibited.
B) Respect & fairness
Friendket welcomes adults of all backgrounds. You may not discriminate, refuse service, or harass someone based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, gender identity, sex, sexual orientation, age, or any legally protected characteristic. You may not use slurs/hateful stereotypes; target people with “jokes” about protected traits; rate/review someone based on protected traits.
Harassment, bullying, and unwanted contact
You may not: harass, bully, shame, or humiliate; threaten exposure, blackmail, or social retaliation; spam messages or pressure for replies; repeatedly contact after no response; contact someone after a session to pursue romance/sex or continued contact they didn’t consent to.
Post-session contact rule: contact should end when the session ends unless (a) both parties mutually want ongoing on-platform conversation, or (b) it’s for logistics, support, or returning a lost item.
No off-platform chasing: if someone blocks you, do not contact them via text, social media, email, or in person.
Emotional safety and power dynamics
Because Friendket involves paid companionship, emotional safety is required. You may not: create emotional dependency or imply exclusivity (“I’m the only one who understands you”); use guilt/fear/obligation to pressure continued contact; present yourself as a therapist/counselor/healer without verification; encourage Members to replace professional mental-health care with Friendket sessions; use emotional vulnerability to extract money, favors, or loyalty. Friendket experiences must remain supportive, respectful, and non-exploitative.
No guarantees, dependency, or outcome promises
You may not: guarantee emotional/social/romantic/personal outcomes; promise healing/transformation or resolution of mental-health conditions; encourage dependency or exclusivity; suggest continued payment is necessary for well-being or stability. Friendket experiences are time-bound, optional, and non-exclusive.
C) Privacy & recording
You may not: secretly record audio/video; livestream or post identifiable images/video of someone without consent; share screenshots of private messages publicly to shame or retaliate.
Allowed with consent: recording for a shared memory/video is permitted only with clear consent from everyone recorded. Consent must be explicit, not assumed.
Doxxing and personal information
You may not: share someone’s address, phone number, workplace, socials, or identity documents without consent; threaten to reveal private info; pressure someone to disclose personal data (home address, real last name, etc.).
D) Integrity (scams, fraud, exploitation)
Because Friends charge money, all payments must be completed through Friendket unless Friendket explicitly provides an approved alternative. You may not: request Venmo/Cash App/Zelle/crypto/cash to avoid fees; add surprise fees (“pay extra when you arrive”); demand deposits off-platform; offer discounts for off-platform payments; charge for “extras” that violate these Guidelines (including sexual contact).
Why this matters: off-platform payments are higher risk for scams, coercion, charge disputes, and safety issues.
Extortion and rating threats
You may not: threaten bad ratings to force a refund/tip/benefit; threaten to report someone unless they pay; hold messages/photos “hostage.” Examples include: “Refund me or I’ll ruin your profile.” “Tip me or I’ll accuse you of something.”
Fraud, impersonation, and misrepresentation
You may not: catfish with misleading photos/identity; use fake credentials (therapist/doctor/lawyer/“certified coach” without being one); create duplicate accounts to evade bans; create fake reviews or coordinate manipulation; run referral/promo abuse or create dummy bookings.
Exploitation and power-imbalance abuse
Prohibited conduct includes: pressuring Members for gifts/loans/housing/jobs/“support”; targeting vulnerable users (grief, disability, loneliness, intoxication) for manipulation; recruiting for MLMs, crypto schemes, or unrelated sales pitches during sessions.
E) Authenticity (clear expectations)
Each booking must accurately describe: what the session is (conversation, activity, social outing, coaching-style companionship, etc.); duration, price, what’s included and not; location type, accessibility notes, physical requirements; and material conditions (alcohol present, pets, group size limits) if applicable.
Prohibited services/activities
Friendket is not for: sexual services or escorting; illegal drugs/illegal activity/trafficking; medical/legal/mental-health treatment; violence, intimidation, or harassment “as a service.” Friends may offer companionship and supportive conversation, but may not present themselves as licensed professionals unless verified/allowed by Friendket.
No professional, medical, or therapeutic services
Friendket is a companionship and social connection platform, not a provider of medical, mental-health, legal, or therapeutic services. You may not: present yourself as a licensed therapist/counselor/doctor/lawyer/medical professional unless explicitly verified and authorized by Friendket; provide diagnosis or treatment; encourage Members to replace professional care; position sessions as therapy/counseling/clinical treatment. Friends may offer supportive conversation only within non-professional boundaries.
F) Reliability (commitments, cancellations, no-shows)
When a booking is confirmed, it creates a commitment between the Member and the Friend. Both parties agree to honor the specific date, time, duration, and location details of that commitment. Excessive rates of cancellation within 24 hours of the agreed date and no shows can result in restrictions, suspensions, and termination.
Members
You may not book sessions without the intent to attend or repeatedly fail to appear ("no-show"). Initiating a chargeback after a session has been successfully delivered in accordance with the booking details is considered fraud.
Friends
You must fulfill the service exactly as described and sold. This means that the individual represented in the profile must be the one to attend; substitution of personnel is a breach of the booking agreement. The session must begin at the agreed start time and location. Unilateral changes to the time or location without the Member’s prior consent constitute a failure to deliver the agreed service. While emergencies happen, maintaining a usable marketplace requires reliability. Accounts that demonstrate a high rate of cancellations, "no-shows," or failure to fulfill booked orders may be restricted or removed from the platform for failing to meet marketplace standards.
Dispute resolution (process)
If something goes wrong: use Friendket’s in-app support/dispute process; provide truthful information and evidence; do not harass the other party while a dispute is open.
G) In-person meetup rules (risk-reducing standards)
Friendket strongly encourages: first meetups in public places; sharing plan details with a trusted person; independent transportation; keeping your phone charged.
Not allowed: taking someone’s phone/keys/wallet; preventing someone from leaving; “surprise” location changes that increase risk.
Right to end a session
Either party may end a session at any time if they feel unsafe, uncomfortable, or disrespected. No explanation is required. Ending a session for safety does not justify retaliation. Friends may not pressure Members to stay because of payment. Members may not pressure Friends to continue past agreed boundaries. Ending early for safety reasons will not be considered a violation. Friendket reserves the right to issue partial or full refunds at its discretion for sessions ended early due to safety concerns.
Group sessions and third-party presence
For group sessions/events: all attendees must be disclosed in advance; surprise guests are not permitted. Friends are responsible for maintaining a safe environment; Members are responsible for respectful conduct toward all participants. If a third party behaves unsafely: pause or end the session and report to Friendket.
Physical activity and health responsibility
If a session involves physical activity, Members and Friends are responsible for assessing their own condition and limits. Members and Friends must not participate beyond comfort/ability and must stop immediately if unwell or unsafe. Neither party may pressure the other to continue physical activity.
H) Content rules (messages, posts, photos)
You may not post or send: hate speech, slurs, or violent extremist content; threats, harassment, stalking content; sexually explicit content or pornography; non-consensual intimate images; personal data (doxxing); spam, scams, phishing, or malicious links.
I) Age requirement (18+ only)
Friendket is strictly 18+. No underage users, you should not fake your date of birth. No content involving minors in a sexual context (immediate ban and report where appropriate). Do not attempt to meet, recruit, or engage minors via Friendket.
J) Reviews, feedback, and retaliation
Reviews should reflect the experience and be respectful. Not allowed in reviews: hate speech/harassment; private info (phone numbers, addresses, workplaces); threats or extortion (“Do X or I’ll leave a bad review”); retaliatory review bombing. Friendket may remove reviews that violate these rules and suspend/terminate the reviewer.
K) Reporting, investigations, and enforcement
If you’re in immediate danger: contact local emergency services first, then report in-app. Reportable issues include: threats/harassment/stalking/discrimination; sexual misconduct; fraud/scams/extortion; off-platform payment pressure; unsafe meetup conditions; privacy invasion/recordings. Friendket will, to the best of its knowledge, cooperate with law enforcement and report suspected illegal activity.
How Friendket reviews reports
We may review messages, booking details, payment data, and other relevant content as described in the Privacy Policy. We may request additional information, temporarily restrict accounts during review, and take action based on safety risk and available evidence. We aim to protect confidentiality and minimize unnecessary data access.
Case-by-case review
Friendket reviews each report individually and reserves the exclusive right, in its sole discretion, to refuse service, restrict features, suspend, or terminate any account at any time. Because circumstances vary, enforcement outcomes may differ across cases, and no single outcome is guaranteed for any particular report. Friendket will make final decisions based on the facts available and relevant data described in the Privacy Policy.
Consequences
Depending on severity and history of the issue Friendket may issue the following consequences: warnings/education; content removal; feature limits (messaging/booking restrictions); temporary suspension; permanent removal (termination).
Issues likely causing immediate removal are not limited to: violence/threats/stalking; sexual assault/coercion/sexual services negotiation; hate-based harassment/discrimination; serious fraud/extortion; hidden recording devices, stalking, or doxxing.
Appeals
If you believe a decision is wrong, you may appeal to Friendket support within 7 days. Friendket may uphold or revise a decision based on new evidence and safety risk.
After-session conduct and ongoing safety
After a session ends, users may not: appear uninvited at someone’s home/workplace/social spaces; use information learned during a session to monitor/track someone; share stories/photos/personal details without consent; frame continued contact as “owed” or expected. Connections beyond the session must be mutual, consensual, and on-platform.
Platform safety authority
Friendket reserves the right to take action—including warnings, restrictions, suspension, or removal—when behavior creates risk or undermines trust, even if it does not fit neatly into a specific rule. Safety decisions may consider credible reports, patterns, power imbalances, and potential harm to users or the platform.
Account security and responsibility
Users are responsible for maintaining account security. You may not: share your account; allow someone else to attend sessions in your place; allow someone else to message or book on your behalf; claim “someone else used my account” to avoid responsibility. Activity conducted through an account is presumed authorized by the account holder.
False reports and abuse of reporting systems
Misuse of reporting tools is prohibited. You may not: submit knowingly false or misleading reports; exaggerate claims to gain refunds or retaliate; coordinate reports to harm another user; threaten to report someone as leverage. Deliberate misuse may result in enforcement action.
L) Special “paid platform” clarity (important)
Because Friendket includes paid companionship: sexual services are prohibited; payments must remain on-platform; no coercion for tips, gifts, or continued contact; no “you owe me” behavior. Friendket is about safe, respectful connection—not exploitation.
M) Platform role, responsibility, and updates
Friendket provides a technology platform that enables adults to connect for online and in-person experiences. Friendket does not organize, host, supervise, or control individual sessions or experiences. Friends and Members interact at their own discretion, are responsible for their conduct/decisions/safety, and must comply with applicable laws. Friends are independent users, not employees, contractors, agents, or representatives of Friendket.
No assumption of control over in-person interactions
Friendket does not control user actions; guarantee conduct/safety/legality; verify sessions occur as described; or monitor in-person interactions in real time. Arrangements made through Friendket are entered into directly between users.
User responsibility and assumption of risk
By using Friendket, you acknowledge: meeting new people carries inherent risk; Friendket cannot eliminate all risk even with safety rules and enforcement; you are responsible for reasonable judgment and personal safety precautions; you assume responsibility for participation, travel, location choice, physical activity, and personal interactions.
No guarantees or warranties
Friendket makes no guarantees regarding quality, safety, or outcome of any experience; compatibility between users; or accuracy of user-provided information. The platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Friendket does not conduct criminal background checks or credit checks on members. Friendket may use third-party service providers (including payment processors) to perform limited identity or account verification for certain users (for example, Friends) to support payments and platform integrity. Any such verification is limited, may not detect all risks, and is not a guarantee of a person’s identity, age, character, training, qualifications, or fitness.
Public representation and media statements
Users may not represent themselves as speaking for Friendket; claim to be a Friendket employee/partner/official representative; or imply Friendket endorsement of their conduct/services. Media inquiries or legal communications involving Friendket must be directed to Friendket.
Local laws and jurisdictional compliance
Users are responsible for complying with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws. Friendket does not provide legal guidance on local regulations. If an activity is illegal in a user’s jurisdiction, it is prohibited on Friendket.
Updates to these Guidelines
Friendket may update these Community Guidelines to reflect changes in law, platform features, or safety standards. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Guidelines.
